After shooting 20 weddings on 20 Saturdays, my fullest season yet, I could not be any more sure that I love what Michael and I get to do together (with a couple other sweet friend second shooters thrown in here and there!), but also how lucky we are to get to do this.  We have never taken lightly these couples (and families!) are choosing us and trusting us to capture their day, and I also fully believe that if the moment ever came where we DID take it lightly, that would be the end of this career for us. Because it is so much more important than that.  These 40 people who welcomed us into their lives, sometimes, their homes, their day and future, mean SO much more to us. So much more than all the beautiful details and fancy bouquets and delicious cakes and gorgeous dresses.  We (…I..) love that part too, don’t get me wrong. And this day celebrates and showcases a lot of that. But there is so much more.  And we are grateful for it and blessed by it every day.  When I think about each of these couples, their names and their hearts, if I listed them out for you, my emotional little self would be a little puddle on the floor. Each of them are such beautiful people, inside and out.
