As a wedding photographer, it is one of my favorite jobs and absolute delights to help my couples as much as I can during their planning process.  One of the big parts of the Jill Gum Wedding Experience is the engagement session (read why I think they are so important here!), and while they usually end up being one of my couple’s favorite parts of the process, planning them can feel a little stressful for a couple! From what to wear, what the best locations are, how to schedule, and how they will actually feel when they get there, I think it’s my job as a photographer to help my couples plan and prepare (and then have an amazing and easy session once it happens!).  The way that I do that is with an Engagement Session Guide!  The 17 page guide that I send my couples walks through every detail of the session (along with lots of photos for inspiration) to help them prepare and plan before we talk through all the final details together!  It definitely focuses on the big what to wear question, with separate pages for casual vs dressy clothing.  This guide took me a long time to put together and perfect– and I want to save other photographers that time!
