There is just something about the comfort and “known” factor of high school sweethearts…and for whatever reason, I get to photograph a LOT of them!  Liz and Neil are one of those couples!  My first interaction with either of them was actually a long time ago…TEN years ago to be exact, when Neil and I were in a community theatre show together!  I was one of 2 actual “adults” in that show (it was High School Musical and a co-director of mine and I just HAD to try out after we put on the show ourselves the previous year!), and it was such a fun experience- but I didn’t get to know a lot of the younger kids in the cast since I was SO much older than them…and Neil was one of those! 🙂
I was so excited to meet them from the first time they emailed me.  They are travelers, readers, adventurers, and 2 really intelligent and interesting people!  And they are crazy about each other.

I got a second view in between their engagement session and when I am sharing this post, and that is because Liz’s family also booked a spring mini-session.  Let me just tell you, I adored every one of them…and my favorite part? These people knew how to laugh.  As I watched them walk away, Neil was hanging out with Liz’s 2 younger brothers just laughing and joking and playing…I can see so much fun and shenanigans in their future together between the 3 guys, with Liz and her parents just enjoying being able to witness it all!  They were a very special family to see interact together, and Neil fits in SO perfectly.

And isn’t that the ideal siutation for the person you will marry??  I can’t wait to share these many favorites with you!
