The moment I heard from her, I knew it would be a dream wedding if I got to photograph it.  I knew her family was just an amazing family, and I knew the winery wedding venue they owned, ran, and lived at was truly a beautiful, relaxing, gorgeous way celebrate a wedding day.  The truth is that when the daughter of a prominent and stunning venue picks you to be their wedding photographer, it is a pretty happy feeling!  And I am so glad that Kylie and Eric chose me (and my FAVORITE bff planner Hannah Graham from Plan Events and Design!).  Sheedy Shores Winery opened up a few years ago and became a quick favorite of mine to photograph at.  It is wide open and so lovely.

And it is ran by just the most wonderful people.  This family and this day brought me to tears quite a few times throughout and there was just so much love everywhere.  Gloria and Mike run a wonderful venue (with the help of Eric, the groom from this day, as the Winery Manager!)…but they raised an even more lovely family.  We got in the car and I immediately begged Mike for us to have 2 more kids because if there is ANYONE who makes it look easy, graceful, and a whole lot of fun, it is these two!  So Kylie is their oldest daughter, and just a complete gem of a woman!  She is fun and bubbly, kind and joyful, and her and Eric together is really a beautiful thing.  They have been together for eleven years…and have known each other longer than that!  Their families know each other well and are very intertwined, and as I mentioned on facebook, even after all that time, Eric still looks at Kylie (EVERY time he looks at her) like she is the only person in the room and like he is falling in love with her for the first time.  And yet he makes everyone else feel cared for as well!  I just adore these two, and their day could NOT have been more wonderful!  The forecast was bad…it looked like it might storm right through their entire day.  And when it actually happened? There was barely a cloud in the sky!

I cannot wait to share this day– these are some of my way too many (as usual!) favorites!! Hannah did this monogram and all the stationary (and flowers!!!) for this wedding, and it was so so pretty! Monogramed pillows!  Eep!!! Pretty ladies! Kylie opened a gift from her groom. And gave lots of sweet gifts as well! First look!! They read their vows to each other alone pre-ceremony, and I LOVED it– I wish Michael and I would have done this! I have so so many favorites! These sweet flower girls stole the show here and there– they were SO ADORABLE! They were SO excited!! Such sweet moments!! This space took my breath away!! I adore this girl! Can you tell how picturesque this gorgeous venue is?! Kylie and Eric, we are SO happy for you!!!  Enjoy your honeymoon and I hope you are reliving your perfect day with your toes in the sand!!!
