Hello lovely bride! Congratulations on your engagement- what an exciting time in your life! I'm Jill, and I am thrilled that you have asked me about the JGP Wedding Experience! I adore telling the stories of the people I get to work with through images, and hope to become a part of your story too.
My favorite part about photography is the relationships I get to build with my couples and their families- I just love getting to know people and capturing them so that they can remember the details and emotion of this most important day. Hi friends! I'm Jill and I'm so glad you're here!
I'm wedding and portrait photographer based out of Central Illinois and Chicago, and available world wide! I'm also a photography educator, wife to my second shooter and favorite person in the world, mama to two amazing toddlers and an energetic Aussie, and obsessed with statement necklaces and ice cream!

THE EXPERIENCE
After years of experience, I compiled a list of all coverage I believe a couple needs to get to ensure the best wedding experience possible, and decided it would not be fair to my clients to offer anything less than that. This is how the Wedding Experience was created. I want my couples to be able to enjoy time with your friends and family, get beautiful portraits of the two of you that show your love and joy, have images that tell a full story of the day you have planned so much for, and last but not least have a minimal-stress wedding day! The "Wedding Experience" is designed to give you just that!

Through emails (or a facetime call!), we can discuss any questions you have based on the info you get here. Once you are ready to move forward, we will book you through an easy online system that creates a contract based on the coverage you choose, we take care of a deposit by paypal or check, and then the fun begins! You will be sent my custom Jill Gum Bridal Guide with everything you need to know about your wedding experience, and we will begin to plan your engagement session! I typically book sessions about 3 months ahead of when you want your engagement session to be (especially in the fall) and suggest at least 2 months before your wedding!

This is one of my favorite parts! I will send you a custom online PDF to help you plan what to wear, and we will choose perfect locations that represent you as a couple! Interested in a spot outside of the Springfield are? Let me know and we can chat travel options! When we meet, it will be just like a fun date night- I will walk you through everything you need to do, and you and your fiance just get to have fun! This is time for you to get comfortable in front of a camera with no stress (so that it is natural and easy on your wedding day!), and most importantly, for us to get to know each other! I love getting to hear your story and learning more about you as a couple!

As your wedding day gets closer, I will send you an online questionnaire that will help us finalize all the details of your day, including timeline. After this, we can touch base by phone and talk through any remaining questions/details a couple of weeks before your wedding!

It's your wedding day!!
It will be a beautiful and incredible day to start the next chapter of your life! I can't wait to celebrate with you. I will capture all of the moments of your day, beginning with details and bridal prep and ending with dancing. There will be parts of your day when we will need to be more interactive in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you won’t eve know we are there! We average between 70-90 images for each hour of coverage. I always photograph your full day with a second shooter (either my husband or another wedding photographer). It will be such a beautiful day- And you will have memories to pass down to generations to come of the love that started it all!
GALLERY DELIVERY

Your finished gallery will be sent to you in a beautiful online format within 5 weeks of your wedding day. The online gallery will allow you to download, share, and print (if you want to!) the edited high-resolution files from your day- and those files are yours- your memories, yours to do what you wish with them. Your gallery will be live for 1 year, and you can access it from your phone as well!
ALBUM

If you choose to include a Legacy Album in your wedding experience, I will begin the album design process shortly after you receive your digital gallery. I will start with a custom layout of spreads and images, and you will get to edit each of those until it is perfect. Then we choose cover options and finalize details, and your album will ship to you about a month later. You can find more details on albums below! You can also order canvas wall art for your walls through your gallery for a discounted price.
