Drew+Sammi: Married | Buena Vista Farms Jacksonville Wedding Photographer
When you start a wedding day with a 60% chance of rain all day, you always worry a bit. Especially when the wedding is outdoors at the stunningย Buena Vista Farmsย in Jacksonville, IL! ย But sometimes you just get lucky…not a drop of rain fell, we got incredible sunlight for most of the day,ย and it was the perfect backdrop for Sammi and Drew’sย beautifulย day!
I have adored Sammi and Drew since I met them- they are both easy going, kind, warm people who just enjoy being around their loved ones, having a good time, and spending time together. ย They give me a good sense about what their wedding would be like in our initial meeting, and it did not disappoint! ย What I didn’t know until our engagement session is how EASY they would be to photograph- they are just so natural and comfortable with each other, and between that, their beautiful venue, and their amazingly styled day, everything was just perfect! I have mentioned it before, but I just LOVE the ease of schedule and lack of travel all-in-one wedding venues provide! And I love the farm feel of Buena Vista. ย I can’t wait for you to see it all!
LOVED all the navy and green details! ย Sammi, Terri from Buena Vista, and her mother in law worked VERY hard on all of the details!
And I adore the slightly southern feel to all of the monograms!
