When you are planning a wedding, you are really thinking about the BIG things.  The big parts- the dress, the details, the reception, the food, the venue.  There are so many big pieces to come together. But the day itself? It is all about the moments. The little parts, a million tiny pieces to the puzzle, that come together to make an amazing day.  This wedding had it ALL.  The big parts Becca and Matthew planned for for months were stunning, down to every detail.  But the moments? The little things? Those were breathtaking.

There were so many things I was caught by.  Becca’s sweet bridesmaids, from many stations of life, who were more attentive to her than any other group of bridesmaids I have seen (and also equally excited about time TOGETHER even though they didn’t all grow up together!).  Becca’s attention to her mother, and how included she was in every moment of the morning.  How the bride spent some extra minutes cleaning up the hotel room and getting rid of extra garbage so her girls could get ready before she got dressed.  Matthew picking out a new pair of sunglasses- the first nice pair Becca has ever had- for her gift.  Becca’s parents grabbed much of my attention because they were where I was throughout the morning, and also because they were so sweetly emotional- and connected- about the day.  And Becca’s dad is really who stole many of those moments.

Michael always tells me that he won’t be able to speak at our daughter’s wedding, or walk her down the aisle, or maybe even come (he’s joking on that one, don’t worry!). He thinks he will be crying to hard! But Becca’s dad Pat reminded me of how I actually think it will go. He was so present, and has been posting Father of the Bride videos on her wall for weeks (making all of her friends cry too), and instead of a full toast, where he knew he wouldn’t make it through, he prepared the sweetest slideshow that him and his wife, the two who had raised her, held on to each other while watching.  Matt’s best man had also prepared a (hilarious!) slideshow, and 2 bridesmaids gave beautiful and heartfelt speeches. It is just so abundantly clear how much Becca and Matt’s community loves them.  And with such good reason. They are truly beautiful inside and out, and it was such an honor to capture their absolutely stunning day.  Just wait until you see it all!!

These shoes! LOVED Becca’s invitation!! All these lovely ladies!!  Only Becca’s mother and ONE  bridesmaid had seen her dress. So she got dressed with just her mama, which was so special… And then got to reveal it to her 8 BFFs!!!! Becca’s sweet mom and dad. She’s ready! First look with daddy! These 3 were crying through the whole ceremony! Mom, dad, and grandma right there…it was the sweetest! So excited to get out and photograph this beautiful group! Becca’s sister in law did ALL of these bouquets, and TONS of flowers from the reception and ceremony. I think she is SUPER WOMAN! They were stunning! Such beauties!!! Looking good guys! I could not love these more! That fall color! Becca- you are SO STUNNING!!! Becca requested a veil shot and I went a little overboard maybe- just loved them all!

Gorgeous! Becca and Matthew gave us SO much portrait time- so we had time to be creative and use the petals from their ceremony! This might be my new favorite picture ever- I am so grateful we had time to do this!!! Michael’s angle!! Love all of these!!  There are so many favorites from this wedding!! Loved this sweet moment with these two!Panther Creek is so beautiful! Could not get over these dresses, or flowers, or beauties! 🙂
