First- Happy Halloween friends! I have a TREAT for you today (see what I did there? ;-))! One of my final fall 2016 engagement sessions is blogged, and I am SO excited to share it!  These two lovelies were also students of mine (that has been a bit of a theme lately!), and were so very dear to me!  The thing about this group is that their love story began and unfolded while they were in high school, highly involved in my program- so I have been there for it ALL!  And I am so beyond honored to get to see this part, and to get to capture their wedding.

Laken was in love with Brock for as long as I can remember.  Seriously.  I remember her liking him, and wanting to date him before he was quite aware of it all. I remember her and her bff Megan giggling about it in my office in between classes, and I remember when they started dating. But I don’t remember a ton of the “in between” because they were just so inseparable from the moment they got together- like they had just always been together.  Brock was a couple of years older than Laken, and it was after he graduated (and went to Millikin, my alma mater!!) that I really got to know Laken super well because she was a TA for me.  I enjoy her immensely!  She is sweet, and funny, and extremely loyal.  She was a hardworking student, and always knew how to make me laugh!  She joined her love at Millikin a couple of years later, and before we knew it, here we are!  Engaged, and getting married next spring!  I am so excited for them, and for where their life will lead.  I think they are so ready for this next step- like I said, it is as though they were always together.  I’m not sure you would ever meet a nicer couple- meet Laken and Brock!

Laken, I have loved photographing that laugh of yours since your senior session forever ago! These two have found such a good match in each other…they just take care of one another.  Brock is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet (as are his two brothers!) and just adores his soon to be wife!! Love this, and all the fall colors!!  Favorite! I adore you two (if you didn’t already know!) and am SO excited for what is to come for you! Hope you love these favorites- full gallery coming soon!
