It’s a fact: We love weddings. We definitely wouldn’t be doing this if we didn’t! But the season does get long, especially with the summer heat. Well, not only did this wedding have the most perfect August weather EVER…but it was just a refreshing and beautiful day to remind us of all the best of weddings. Becca and Brandon’s wedding was held on Brandon’s family farm, and it was an absolute labor of love. I adored these two from their engagement session, and loved what they were planning– because farm life is close to our hearts too. But until I saw it…until I saw their shed bursting at the seams with beauty and Pinterest worthy details, but even more so, an absolute army of loved ones helping to get everything just right, I didn’t know how much it would move me…and it truly did. Flowers grown from the garden on the farm, food made by the groom’s dad catering company (how does he have one of those while running such a huge and successful farming operation?! Who knows!), and the land that the groom grew up on and fell in love with under their feet. It was truly a beautiful day filled with emotion and kindness. Becca and Brandon are adored by everyone they meet, and after watching them ensure time to greet all 320 of their guests with smiles and hugs, there is absolutely no wonder why. You will see the sweet moments here, and the gorgeous details– but I cannot show you the amount of love and giving that went into making this day what it was. It was so noticeable though, and so very community driven and lovely.
Becca’s dress was absolutely dreamy!! These beauties were so much fun to spend the day with! Flowers from the farm! This little guy on the left?! Just WAIT! He was the BEST best “man” ever! The best dog was in all the groomsmen pictures and he was just amazing!!
Such a lovely set up! These awesome lights…made out of WATER BOTTLES…hung from a long row of trees to the sides of the ceremony. As night came, they lit up the outdoor game space– it was lovely! A moment after putting his own tissue in his pocket, Becca’s father grabbed his mother’s hand and watched her for a full 10 seconds, making sure she was ok and taking it all in. And for the most epic first kiss ever…a few perfectly timed fireworks!! You can’t quite see the color in the daylight sky but it was so fun!! This light!!! So many favorites here 🙂 There were just so many lovely details at the reception space– I wanted all the signs! This picture on the right was meant to show you just a little of the enormity of space and decoration that went into this beautiful day!! This pregnant photographer struggles a lot during the parent and kid dances at weddings this season, especially when they are emotional!!
Little boy in there enjoying the celebrations! And a few final sunset moments on the farm. Becca and Brandon, we are SO happy for you and so thankful to have witnessed your beautiful day!!!
As I mentioned before, I LOVED how Becca + Brandon’s entire family came together to make this event so special– you will see it all through this list!!
