Sometimes when you meet people, you just CLICK instantly.  You know that if you had met them randomly, you would be friends and be a part of each other’s lives.  I felt that way when I met Amy back in the winter to discuss wedding photography.  She is warm and friendly, and calm and has a laid back feeling about her at the same time, and the conversation about life was effortless.  And when I met her Andy a couple of weeks ago, he held so many of the same characteristics- they just are so easy to love!  They are getting married in the fall (my very favorite–right after Michael’s and my 5 year anniversary this year!!), outdoors at a golf course (also my most ideal sort of event, though I love them all!) and the pieces fit together immediately foe us.  I am so honored they chose me!

Andy has a beautiful daughter who joined us for the first half of their Downtown Springfield session before we got rained out, and I loved every moment with her.  Some of my FAVORITE images here were her idea (she has a good little eye!! :)) and she brought such a fun energy. And it was so fun to see both Amy and Andy with her- they make a beautiful family, and it is so clear they all adore each other (you will see!).  But I also loved the opportunity to go back out with them a few days later, with a little more dry ground and a lot of light and breeze and just getting to really see Amy and Andy, together. It is very beautiful. Andy is a bit protective of his Amy, and modeling isn’t is favorite activity…Amy is absolutely stunning but has no clue that she is…they really are just absolutely gorgeous together.  So without further adieu…meet this beautiful family with a few favorites here, and a full slideshow down below!

I am so thrilled with how these images document a bit of Amy and Andy’s story- because we shot on 2 different days, there is so much represented here and I love the words this slideshow speaks of their love! You guys, I can’t WAIT for October!!!
