FAVORITES OF 2015: ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS Central Illinois Wedding and Engagement Photographer
You guys, I had to choose rings for the featured image for this post because there were TOO MANY FACES that I adore here to choose a couple!! Weddings are my favorite, hands down, to capture. The mixture of events and types of things to photograph during the day just completely capture me. However, it is these pictures that really get me emotional when I go through them. Because these pictures are them. Plaid shirts, boots, scarves, comfort and natural and smiles and real life. Puppies. These pictures show these couples as they are day to day, as I get to know them, and as they are with each other more than anything else, an separate from the hubbub of the wedding day.
For many couples, their engagement session (which I think are one of the most important parts of your planning process- read about it here!) is the first time they have ever seen themselves professionally photographed together (or separate for some!). There is something so powerful and beautiful about seeing your love caught on camera- I was so amazed at the outcome of ours and how it made me feel to see how I felt about Michael displayed to see. I had never seen an emotion of mine so powerfully displayed. And that is how I feel about these images! I wonder if I can mention all the feels any more here…but it’s true! I LOVE these #jgpcouples!!! See why for yourself :):)
