Sometimes, I am (much to Michael’s surprise ;-)) a little short for words, and this is one of those times. When I moved to Springfield, I literally did not know anyone. I got hooked into 2 teacher friends at school, a full community of people, and eventually the Springfield theatre community, and these two (and now their darling baby boy!) are a part of that. They aren’t 2 that I necessarily see a TON throughout the year outside of show activities, and after being high school sweethearts, there are so many in our community that know them much better and for longer. But I met them for the first time 10 years ago, when Damien played for my VERY first musical and I adored him instantly. And when I met his match shortly later, I loved her just the same.  They are vivacious, talented, friendly, funny, involved, and just insanely loving and fun people. Our lives have weaved common threads for the past 10 years, and now sharing this similarity as well, “parents”, is so special.  When Damien answered the door with this perfect little man in his hands, I had to swallow back a little tear, and MORGAN as a mom…just wait until you see it.  Even though I don’t see them super often, these two are just SPECIAL to me. And I think that’s how everyone feels about them. So now, to see them with this sweet boy of theirs…

It is truly stunning. And I know, from my slight 4 years of experience, that they are in for so much good.  Lots of tired nights, and tantrums, and teething and eventually a threenager, yes. But so much more good. (insert all the heart eyes!) Sometimes, you just have to keep it even if it isn’t 100% perfectly in focus! Baby S’s perfectly nautical nursery is ADORABLE- his mama has style in ALL ways!
