The class of 2016…how did that happen!?  I am so excited to share this wonderful young man, James, with you!  This class that will graduate this spring is the first class that I was on leave for for my first baby (though I did the musical that year too!), and of course the first class that I will have missed their senior year as well. I am SO SO glad that I got to direct them all of those years though, and so thrilled that I get another chance to work with them this spring- it is an amazing group of kids.  James is and has always been one of my most involved from the class, though he is highly involved in other areas of school as well, as you will soon see! I wrote in my first sneak peek of him that he might be the most universally liked student I have ever taught, and I meant it- James knows nothing but a friend.  He is approachable, hilarious, kind, talented, willing to make a fool of himself on my stage ;-), and has a huge heart.  He works very hard, is very intelligent, and has such a bright future ahead of him…Kim, are you crying yet?! I know his mother Kim is SO proud of him, and she should be.  He is the type of boy I hope my boy is like when he is in high school–and James, I mean that too!  I am so proud to be his teacher and director, and can’t wait to show you a little of his personality here! Starting with a place he spends a lot of his time in the fall…

Favorite! James is a 2 season athlete, involved in many clubs, and has been involved in pretty much every aspect of the choir department throughout his HS career.This CRACKS me up! James with this little sweet pup…love it!
