One of the BEST ways to show your ideal clients that you are the best photographer for them- the one they should choose in a SEA of photographers- is to make sure they know what they are going to get from you by editing each session super consistently no matter where/when you photograph! I will teach a 2 hour online class about editing for consistency, and do a 30 minute recorded hot seat call working through your editing with you! This bootcamp will run in September.

Posing easily, quickly, and clearly can MAKE or BREAK your client's experience with you! Learn how to plan out your posing so you can go into every situation confidently and comfortably, knowing you will get both posed camera-aware photos and meaningful interactive photos. I will teach a 2 hour online class about posing (including watching me shoot a real session and seeing it all in action!), and do a 30 minute recorded hot seat call looking at your galleries to talk through your posing. This bootcamp will run in October.
Taking beautiful photos is one thing. Making sure your clients understand your value and worth through online communication is a total different part of business! I will walk you through all the steps I took to build my part time 6-figure photography business all through free word of mouth marketing, and show you how to attract your ideal client with your elevated online brand. New students can join anytime, and all members begin with a bonus Shooting in Manual Mini-Course and then see content following a specific theme about photography each month. Some themes including dealing with all different types of light, telling the story, composition, camera settings, focus, editing, etc.

Each student is given access to a membership platform where each month's content is released. Each month, students will get: a 30-60 minute video covering the content (either with me photographing live or teaching to the camera), a pdf or worksheet to supplement the content, and a live online Q+A in the exclusive facebook group for Photo U Students.

Once you are a member, you can watch (and rewatch again and again) the content whenever you choose and review as often as you need. You can access every month's content again and again (but you do lose access if you stop your membership at any point). Your session is custom designed for what areas you want to grow in. After initial details and booking, I send you a questionnaire that helps you decide and prioritize exactly what areas you want to work on, and helps determine how we will spend our time together.

The topic possibilities are endless! We can talk about using your camera, post-processing and editing, work flow, equipment and gear, posing, lighting, composition- you name it, we can cover it. The session also includes professional head-shots for your portfolio (which also allows you to experience my posing in action!), and can include a live mini-session, photographing beside me, with a subject that fits your photography passion (couple, senior, or family)!

You will leave with an action plan to move your business or passion forward and practical steps to get there- and access to the exclusive Jill Gum Education facebook for community and ongoing support from others in similar shoes as you!

Half day Sessions are 2.5 hours, set at a time that works for us both. The investment is $400, and the sessions take place at my home near Springfield, IL.
