I am so SO excited to share this blog post, and this day, with you, and to be posting it the Wednesday after their beautiful day, which was a major goal of mine!
Matt and Liz (who you may remember from their engagement pictures here), got married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the stunning Buena Vista Farms on Saturday. Mike and I were so thrilled to shoot at this venue because it was one of the locations we had looked at to hold our wedding nearly 4 years ago (a date conflict led us to our winery instead!). The day was absolutely PERFECT. Breezy, 60 something degrees, partly cloudy, and filled with so much love and friendship! Matt and Liz balance each other so well, and were surrounded by so many family members and friends who absolutely adore them. I was quite struck during the dollar dance as I focused on Liz by how warmly she greeted everyone, with a hug and a kiss, and by how tightly her loved ones clung to her as they wished her well. It was quite beautiful to watch, as was every other moment of the day. Liz and her 5 bridesmaids arrived calm, cool, and collected with so much excitement in the air, and that continued throughout the whole day. The day was beautifully coordinated by Teri, the owner of the farms and every detail was thought of by her. The reception was bursting with adorable kids dancing all around, and playing games on the lawn. It truly was just a magical day!
Liz and Matt, I know you are honeymooning in Jamaica right now (jealous anyone?!)–relive your wedding day again and again as you sit with your toes in the sand!!!! Michael and I were so honored to capture this day for you and are so excited to see what comes of this new part of your lives!!
