At the Reset conference last week, we learned from photographers in big settings, in smaller breakouts, and then there was time for concept shoots, when we all got to get out those fancy cameras of ours and shoot a bit.  I knew right away when I saw the signups that this shoot was for me, and I was right.  This is the first styled shoot I have been a part of and I LOVED the experience! Basically, styled shoots are a way for photographers and vendors to get together and practice their crafts: vendors create beautiful pieces (these flowers…seriously!) to be photographed and photographers can practice styling them, posing clients, etc, usually under the guidance of another photographer. The wonderful Kara Kamienski led this styled shoot and it was so fun to watch her work with these past clients (newlyweds!) of hers!  Her pacing was incredible and she brought so much energy!! She uses a few assistants to make her vision come to life, and I tend to love to work with just my Michael so it was fun to see another approach to that.

This couple was BEAUTIFUL and were champs- it was pretty cold and windy, and they did a great job for us!  A sweet flower girl joined us a bit later too.  The details were vibrant and stunning- it was just such a fun experience! I am sharing a TON here- I just loved it all so much!  I am so excited to share these!
