Bridal showers are always such interesting events- a mix of nerves and excitement from the bride at being the center of attention, often without their future groom there, a lot of loved ones celebrating that bride, but sometimes people she doesn’t know very well…they can be very intimidating. But a bride being showered with love by her sister, mom, cousin, and many other women who are very dear to her with the most BEAUTIFUL, elegant, classy details and sweet games…that is a shower ANYONE would love! Katie is my FIRST bride of 2015 with a wedding just over 60 days away, and Michael and I absolutely cannot WAIT for her big day. We shot her engagement session last spring and absolutely adored our time with Katie and her Jaron, and I loved seeing all the little surprises from Jaron at this shower too.

Katie is a girl after my own heart with her adoration of blush pinks and golds (have you seen my new branding, or any pictures of my girl’s nursery?!), and the details at this wedding were to die for!  It was so well planned by Katie’s girls, and I am SO glad her sweet sister asked me to come photograph!  One of my ONLY regrets about Michael’s and my wedding planning process is that we have very few images from my bridal shower- I remember being quite crushed when I got home and realized that I hadn’t gotten ANY pictures at all taken with my bridesmaids, mom or mom-in-law, or my soon to be sisters that worked so hard on that day (and I made up for it at my baby shower!).  Katie, I hope you LOVE these and can cherish them as they remind you of all the love these ladies showered on you!!  Here are some of my favorites!
