A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY NOTE For my Michael
On Saturday, we celebrated Michael’s birthday! We love birthdays every year and I feel like we try to make a big deal of them, though admittedly in small ways (extra quality time, extra spoiling each other, and lots and lots of cake…you know, the small things!). There is just something special about a birthday- giving a little extra love to celebrate another year together, another year with out babies…we just love it! And when our birthdays fall on weekends it gives us a little extra time to really focus on the day!
This is going to be a short and sweet post, for the man who changed my perspective, taught me balance, and gave me a home. A little letter, with as many words as his years (which, my Michael, is why it’s so SHORT! Because regardless of your worries, and how we would go to bed at 8 PM every night of we could…you are still plenty young!).
My Michael,
Putting my adoration of you into (few!) words is impossible for me. You are truly all things good, on all days. I love you-especially now, 38 and all! Oops…did I say that? 😉
