How do I even begin this post?! I have known this #jgpcouple for almost 9 years, since they started dating, and have adored them for each of those years!  You saw them first here for their engagement session, and last summer here for their wedding.  You could read enough blubbering in both those posts for the week!  I have gotten to witness a lot of their stages from a far, including this last year when Lindsey joined her husband, teaching in the same town (much like Michael and I).  They had a beautiful and touching wedding last summer, and have gone through a lot of life- more than ideal- in the year since then.  But this? This is a really really good moment. The moment that high school sweethearts become parents.  Mom and dad. Of a beautiful little boy.  I am so so proud of them and so honored to be a witness!  And I get to photograph them every few months for the next year as a part of my baby’s first year plan! Meet beautiful Aiden.

I’m sure Aiden has woken up a bit since this- but he was so sweet and quiet and well tempered during our session! He was also largely awake- but that meant I got to do a lot of baby rocking, and I loved every minute!

Aiden was quite calm and happy in their beautiful backyard! An outside boy (after my own heart!) for sure!Love these two. But the most fun part about the theme is that Aiden’s super talented mama has been in Peter Pan twice- once more recently as Wendy, as you can see on the right!This is so true, sweet Aiden!An incredibly special finger print, holding Aiden’s hand and and his Mama’s heart.  Lindsey, she is always with you…These are Aiden’s bunny hands…and I love them!He has an amazing head of beautifully laying hair!

You guys, I am so happy for you and know that the next 4 months will zoom by and we will be photographing a smiling, holding head up baby boy! Cherish all the moments you can- even the middle of the night ones as you are cursing them at the same time!! It goes so fast, and will be the best ride of your life!
