Where oh where does the time go?! Back when I did his beautiful sister’s session a few years ago, I said the same thing but it is oh so true. When I came on the Gum Family scene, this handsome young man (I sound 75 years old there!) was a very much just a boy. But even then- there is something so so special about Morgan, and everybody knows it. He can be a boy- yes- and can be silly and rambunctious with the best of them. But he has always been such a considerate, kind, and hardworking guy. Very well mannered and kind, polite to adults but a friend to all peers…that type of guy. The drop anything at any moment to help you sort of person. Including the time I got stuck in his yard during an engagement session (this one to be exact!) in the mud (because the farm is my favorite backdrop and I didn’t realize how muddy muddy was!) and he spent his early evening under the car, in the mud, hooking up chains so it could be pulled out while I photographed that couple, without a single complaint. He is that type of guy- and the stories go on and on.
I also said when I photographed his sister that much of my family obviously has a much longer history with Morgan- but the years I have been a part of this family have grown, and my attachment has also, especially seeing my nieces and nephews (which Morgan is one of :)) interact with my kids. I have endless memories of Morgan and my babies (especially my boy!) on the farm- and I am just so incredibly honored to be his aunt!
Last year Morgan started dating a beautiful girl that the Gum’s adore as well–but my favorite part is that my 4 year old is pretty convinced she is his girlfriend, and will always be. So you will see a bit of Kloee in here too 🙂 Meet Morgan:
I love that this barn has been in both of their senior pictures, and I know their little brother’s in a few too short years from now- hopefully my babies too when they get there! Morgan is going to school next year but sticking around here, planning to in part continue the livestock part of the Gum Farms- and I am thrilled he will still be around here. We absolutely adore him and wouldn’t do well with him far away!!!
Where Morgan is most at home 🙂Looking good, Morgan!!!
