Many many years ago, I began following the photography journey of a vivacious and life-enhancing woman I only knew briefly at that point (follow this one…she was the sister of my best friend’s brother’s wife!!!). A few years after that, she was one of the first people I contacted when Michael proposed to me- I knew that Beth was the only one for us! I would have changed our date for her in a heartbeat- but she was available! It continued a beautiful friendship that has meant a lot to me over the years, and turned into her breathing a lot of life and help into my business the past few, and I am forever grateful for it.
In February, I got to second shoot for her on one of her winter weddings and I adored that time with her. It was an unseasonably warm day, and it was my first wedding in 5 weeks, so I was so grateful for the opportunity! Mallory and Eric, and their loved ones, were absolutely delightful to spend the day with. They are a lovely couple that have such a wonderful connection with those around them- it was truly beautiful to watch. I spent the morning with Eric and his guys, and loved the day! It was really fun to be able to concentrate on the things a second shooter gets to concentrate on (details, smaller groupings, etc) and have the main pressure of the day not rest on me- I really enjoy second shooting! From the grooms jacket, to the stellar fun of the bridal party during portraits (including stick baseball!), to the daddy-daughter first look before the ceremony and beyond, it was a day to remember. I am so excited to share this day with you, and so honored that my sweet Beth Laurren asked me to join her!
First look!!!Checking out his bride’s details….Mallory’s dress was GORGEOUS (and so was she!!)!
These next 2 are my favorites!Mallory told us about a memory she has with her mother of a drawing in their house that said “When in doubt, twirl.”. And she did!
LOVED these gorgeous and whimsical flowers!!!These were 2 of my favorites- I love this tutu concept for flower girls (all girls?!)!A second first look…Love this- the most important selfie they will ever take! 😉Married!!
Congrats Mallory and Eric!!!
