Now that I am no longer teaching at the high school I taught choir at for 8 years, I covet every bit of time I get with my old students, in every situation! If we happen to get out to a game, or of course every moment during the spring musicals that I still direct…and also if I get to photograph their senior sessions. This beauty is one of mine, someone I watched grow up since 5th grade and have worked with the past 3 years.  She has grown so much over that time, and is such a beautiful multi-dimensional girl.  And she is so my type of girl.  Feminine, girly, glitter obsessed, and a lover of all things pink, beautiful, and pageantry…I just get her.  Because I see so much of myself in her.  Kayla is an extremely talented singer and performer, which is of course how I got to know her.  We bonded quickly her freshmen year for many reasons, and her sophomore year, she was my Frenchy in Grease.  Last year I got to see her in full princess dress glory in our show, and I cannot wait to see what this year brings for this wonderful girl!
