When I photographed Kelsey and Josh’s engagement session back in February, I just knew that their wedding was going to be an amazing day. Their wedding was going to take place at the gorgeous Resort that Kelsey’s family owns and runs, the same Resort that we photographed at on that unseasonably warm February day. A Resort that has much personal meaning to Kelsey, as she grew up there, and to Kelsey and Josh together, since they live there now. The resort was lovely in February and in September…it was just breathtaking. But not nearly as lovely as the relationships that we got to see come to life between Kelsey, Josh, and their loved ones. Kelsey has a big family, and they wanted to include everyone in their wedding party- so that involved 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, and 10 little ones as flower girls and ring bearers. It was just so much fun- truly! Each person was as kind as the next, as kind as Kelsey and Josh, and as excited about their marriage as the couple themselves were. Kelsey and Josh with the help of their lovely planner Carolyn dreamed up such a classically beautiful day with traditional and lovely details, and it all came to life so incredibly well as you will see! We started with details at Kelsey’s parents home.
These Betsey Johnson heels were GORGEOUS! Loved all these girls helping her with all her finishing touches! Sisters, friends, roommates…there were so many beautiful relationships present in that room. Looking good gentlemen! They got married in Kelsey’s childhood church. Married! I loved these necklaces that Kelsey got her girls!! Kelsey, you were just the most BEAUTIFUL bride!!
Favorites! These are in Kelsey’s parent’s backyard…it is just beautiful! You know I love that sunflare! Favorite! This cake was made by one of her BRIDESMAIDS (who also happens to be the little sister one of my FAVORITE college friends- what a small world!)! This reception was just so beautiful! Now this was a dance party!!! These few minutes before sunset totally made my heart flutter! Kelsey and Josh, we could not be more excited for you! Your day was PERFECT and we know a beautiful marriage will follow! Congratulations!!!

You're in the right place! As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business! I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).
I'm so glad you are here! Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!
