After 2 Sundays in a row of a coaching session and then a Manual Shooting workshop yesterday, this post is SO timely! The truth is, when I began my business, I had no idea what to invest in, how to do it with a newborn, and eventually 2 young babies, and how to decide where to put my money in the start of my business to grow the quickest but also set the best foundation for my business. But now, looking back, it is quite easy to see. When I meet with newer photographers, I see all that they stand to gain by investing early, and when I meet with photographers that have been in business for years, I see on their face what I feel about the 2 years it took me to invest in education for my business– why didn’t I do this sooner?! I am sharing what I would have changed if I could go back in time four years in my business, and I also am sharing some options for you if you are really ANYWHERE in your business journey and wondering about learning more about your camera or running your business more effectively and efficiently. Looking to save more time so you can spend it with your family? Want to streamline your workflow? Want to have a workflow in the first place? Are you wading through the options…coaching sessions, workshops, conferences, unsure of the benefits of each? This video blog is for you! It is a little lengthy (if you know me, that’s shocking, right ;-)), but worth it I think!

You're in the right place! As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business! I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).
I'm so glad you are here! Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business! I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).

Great photography education! Running your business is about more than simply picking up a camera. There is so much that goes into it!
my biggest advice to beginner photographers is always educate yourself. Love this post so much!
Thank you!!!
Oh my gosh, Jill, you and your office are just the cutest! Education, education, education! More important than a lot of people may imagine. Invest in your business by investing in yourself!
