SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS PURPLE AND SILVER SPRING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY Joshua + Anna | Married

I admit it: I am a sap. Ask anyone who knows me and they will agree…Hallmark movies are a year around event and can have me in tears, I cry at pretty much every wedding, and the greeting card section at Target….don’t even get me started!  I love all of the sentimental parts of wedding days– and I also love the homily during the ceremony.  I always love hearing with the Officiants have to share with the couple, especially if they have history with them.

Even after 50 weddings photographed and almost 100 total attended, there is always something new, but I was particularly touched by what was spoken about during Anna and Josh’s wedding. Their Priest said that wedding ceremonies are one of the strongest reflections we have of Heaven.  An event with all your loved ones gathered, celebrating in joy, worshiping the Lord, in their finest, at a banquet feast with the most lovely music (which at Anna and Josh’s wedding it was truly the most lovely ceremony music ever)…it really struck me.  And I have not really ever seen a celebration with more joy and love than this one. Everyone who meets Anna and Josh just loves them, and I am positive you will see why in these pictures.

I have known Anna for quite a few years now through local community theatre, and have always adored her. She is extremely talented– but much more importantly, she is one of those people who just wraps you into her fun and energy when you are around her. You just can’t be help but be happy in her presence.  And while this was the first time I officially met her Josh, I felt the exact same way around him. Like I could share a drink and talk with both for hours.  They are just the sort of people you want to be around…and every one of their guests looked just so honored to be there.  It was a beautiful day…rain and all.  Absolutely perfect… and I can’t wait to share it with you!

Josh’s mother’s ring sat on Anna’s right hand all day long. Proud mama and her 2 beauties This first look…so so sweet! True Colors made the most vibrantly beautiful bouquets! Sometimes you just need an umbrella and rain boots on your wedding day…Alanis might be sad to hear it jus’t wasn’t really a problem! Anna made just the most beautiful bride! Favorite! Other favorite! I absolutely love this… Married! The had the most beautiful choreographed first dance and totally rocked it! Anna I adore you! Thank you both so much for the honor of being a part of your day- I’m sending you both so so much love!!
