Central Illinois Washington Park Outdoor Blue Wedding Photography Andrew + Meghan | Married

I have these memories of Meghan and Andrew 10 (!!) years ago when Meghan was in my shows, and Andrew was the little brother of another super involved student and Meghan’s boyfriend.  Impressions of who they were together, and of who Andrew was since I got to know Meghan fairly well during musicals. They were both adored by pretty much everyone, and I have memories of both of their friends as well, some in my choirs or music appreciation classes.  Seeing them all together, 10 years later, while Meghan and Andrew said I do was so so fun.  They are so different and grown up in comparison…and also so very much the same in other ways.

Meghan’s twin sister, another sweet student of mine, said in her speech that people consistently asked her in high school if she thought Andrew and Meghan would end up married, and her answer was always unwavering: yes. I don’t think that is everybody’s story. I don’t think that is every high school sweetheart’s story.  But it is theirs.  Their wedding day was beautiful…not too hot (which it could have been!), not rainy (which it was predicted to be)…absolutely ideal for their outdoor ceremony. But I much more mean that the other parts were beautiful…the joy all of the family and close friends shared for Meghan and Andrew, the anticipation and smiles on Meghan and Andrew’s faces before they shared their first look, the tears on Meghan’s dad’s face as she said her vows, the presence of Andrew’s father in multiple ways even though he had passed away in Andrew’s youth.  There was such real genuine emotion throughout the day and it was so lovely to be a part of. Enjoy this beautiful summer wedding!

LOVED this beautiful color of Meghan’s details and bridesmaid’s dresses!  Meghan you were just the most beautiful bride! First look time! We loved this portrait time with them…Meghan requested all the lush greens we could find and I think we delivered well! Meghan made all of the bouquets and she did an amazing job!!! Love these blues!! So glad we got out for this extra portrait time- we love these images at the Illinois State Fair Grounds outside of their reception! Meghan and Andrew, we adore you two and are absolutely thrilled for you.  We truly felt your love for each other so strongly on your day- it was lovely, and we are so thankful to have been a part of it!
