A quick personal post for the blog today about something I’ve learned from past falls, and also been taught these last few months while growing this 3rd sweet baby.

I want a little more margin in my life.  And I want a little more time with my family in preparation for our baby’s arrival (and after).

So what? We have made 2 huge decisions for JGP for this fall and next year. The first is that we aren’t booking anymore 2018 weddings (unless an extenuating circumstance arrives–an old or close friend’s engagement, etc).  We have limited our weddings to a handful less than this year, and feel very comfortable with where that leaves us– both in terms of time home, and also in giving more space for a little extra dreaming on the educational side of my business.

Second? We are now fully booked except for maybe 1-2 senior sessions in November that are in the works already for 2017.  I will be releasing 1-2 October mini-session dates, and I am excited for those to see a lot of returning and new families!  But we have this issue each fall where people inquiry early, and then by the time I hear back to book them and fit them in with weddings and many engagement sessions, I end up with sessions 4-5 nights a week for 2 months straight, and I want to guard against that this year.  So seniors of mine– if you want a senior session, please still reach out- but I may be convincing you of the beauty of spring at this point! 🙂 And families/couples, be on the lookout for mini announcements- they are coming soon!
