Where oh where do I even begin about this wedding?  I think I have to tell it through Michael’s eyes.  Because, you see, I am generally emotional about my weddings.  These couples mean a lot to me, and I am so excited for their lives and what is to come.  I get to know them well, so meeting their family and closest friends and spending the day with them means so much to me.  And plus I’m pregnant, which I’m going to blame on the excessive amount of tears I have shed at some of my 2017 weddings! 😉 But my Michael, because he isn’t full time for my business, doesn’t spend the same amount of time with my couples, and doesn’t get as emotionally involved in the whole thing.

But this day? Anna and Matthew’s wedding? Even Michael was quite emotionally invested (as was everyone else at the wedding)!  I always know based on what Michael says after the day that there are certain qualities about weddings that reach out to him, and this one was full of them.  Anna’s eloquent mother, Julia, married her daughter to her new son.  Anna and Matthew’s daughter, now Anna’s daughter, spoke vows to each other during the wedding.  There was just not a way to have dry eyes.  And I just hope that Anna and Matt know that it had nothing to do with the heat or the sweat from everyone…it was emotion because their day was just beautiful.  Julia spoke about her daughter and her beauty, and how that beauty permeates so much deeper than her love of dresses and tutus and princesses.  How it is all about how she cares and treats for others.  And the exact same goes for Matthew. While Anna pledged to be the best step-mother she could be for her new daughter, promised to continue loving her as she had for the past many years, no one could hold it together! We just loved this day.  And it all happened with the lovely backdrop of Buena Vista Farms, which we just love for the variety and natural beauty.

Anna and Matthew planned a gorgeous fall wedding for their loved ones, and it was nearly 100 degrees. And no one cared for even a second.  Anna left no stone unturned in her planning, and you will see that too…even though by far our favorite part was the sentiment and love involved in it all. It was a perfect day, and we were truly honored to be a part of it.

Favorite! Oh this moment! He kissed his mama on the way down the aisle! I hope my sons take notes!! 😉  I couldn’t get over how a full dance floor parted seas at these exact 2 moments for me to get these images from across the floor…I loved it! Sunset on the farm is so dreamy!! Congratulations Anna and Matt! We adore you guys!!
