I am having a super hard time lately putting my feelings about the speed of time into words as I have watched my last baby grow out of newborn stage and get closer and closer to his first birthday.  I used to subscribe to the “the days are long but the years are short” motto and now I just think everything is way too fast.  I start with this because it was actually just yesterday that I photographed this little girl’s newborn session, super pregnant myself, on a rainy day in the fall.  And only a couple of weeks ago that I did the same for their little boy, and just before that was this beautiful couple’s engagement session and wedding!  Or at least that is how it feels to me.  And yet somehow years have flown by, we have all changed houses and careers and grown so much. It is just crazy!
I adore this family more than I can say.  There just is not a more quality set of parents out there, and they just love their babies so well.  They let them play, but give them boundaries, and are giving their kids a life that is absolutely full of wonder and fun, and I love being able to witness it!  Miss Evie was just the sweetest this evening, full of smiles and so excited for her PIE smash (best fall idea ever!)!!  We also got to photograph at their new home with their new sweet pup and everything about it was just magical.  I’m so excited to be sharing my favorites today!!

Is she not the sweetest?!!! She watches every move her brother makes…they are so connected to each other! I know this is chaotic…but I LOVE it. So sweet!! I could not love this perfect one year old smash more!
