Ohhh there is nothing like getting to follow a family through EACH stage of the first year!  By 4 months, they can push up on their tummies and have so much more expression (and…wakefulness?) than their newborn session.  And then at 8 months, they are full of smiles, sitting up, and often crawling.  And by one year, they are standing, walking, gabbering little people…it’s just the best! I have mentioned before how special this particular family has been to follow because their sweet little man was born just a couple of weeks before mine, so I see our stages echoed in him (though he is a much more advanced mover than my little butt-scooter!)!  But also, I love it that they have 3 kids (like us) of similar ages.  Jhett’s two big sisters just adore him and it has been so fun to see them grow in their care of him but also fun with him over the year.  But my favorite is mom and dad! They have their little boy, and they just enjoy him SO much, and it is so evident when we are all together!  I adore this family and have loved watching them grow together this year!  Here are a few of my favorites from Jhett’s studio 1 year session!

Love Jhett’s smile here! Such a variety of faces and animation with this sweet little one! 🙂 Molly and Jared are super creative so the kids have always been adorably dressed and themed, and then Jhett had his whole little airplane theme here! I loved it! Jhett wasn’t quite as sure about it during his session…but Molly said played with it endlessly later!
