This past weekend was the official start to our regular fall season, an it felt so good to start up again!  This fall includes a few weddings that have been on my calendar for a year plus, and a few that are newer, and I am so excited to get to celebrate with each of my couples!  All of their days look different, maybe different than initially planned, but they are all the start of new families that I feel such deep joy for!

This weekend, it was Annelise and Cody’s turn.  Their turn to have their perfectly special day, the day where in front of their most loved ones, they got to choose each other forever.  And it was such a beautiful day!  Honestly, it was quite perfect.  Their wedding day was the first time I got to meet Annelise and Cody, and I knew in the first few moments with each of them that they are both kind and warm, and so deeply involved with their families.  They have a deep connection with each other that brings peace and comfort to those around them.  I felt it too, even knowing them for such a short amount of time.  They were checking in on everyone else, making sure everyone else was ready and happy and having a good time.  That’s who they are, and they love their people so well.

You know what else they do well? Through a heck of a party!  Their cocktail hour was on the rooftop of the Four Seasons Hotel in St Louis and had such a gorgeous view…and their dance floor was one of the best I have seen- rocking from song one!  With Annelise and Cody at the center of it all.  These two filled us with such immense joy during our time with them, and I am so excited to share my favorites here!
