Their pastor said it, and it hasn’t left me: Wake up every morning, and decide how you can love your best friend best that day. Better than the day before. This concept- to try to “outlove” each other isn’t new to me…but I hadn’t heard it presented like this before, and I can tell you without a doubt after this day with Karlee and Bryant that they are up for the challenge, and will indeed spend their days loving each other better. I met Karlee and Bryant in person on their wedding day for the first time, something that doesn’t usually happen for me. But I truly felt like I had known Karlee for years the moment she said hello. She completely stole my heart that morning, doing her best to stay calm and collected though filled with such excitement. Her style, her joy, her heart– I loved it all. And then once Bryant entered the scene at their first look…these two are just infectious in the BEST sort of way. They have an energy and vibe about them that is impossible to describe, yet felt instantly. Bryant is the life of every party and their wedding day was truly so fun. A few things happened that could have deterred a lot of couples from remembering what it was all about, and these two truly LAUGHED through it all and turned it into a story to tell right away, and I LOVE that kind of people. Broken elevator, stalled party bus, rain at ceremony time…no problem! Why? Because they were finally getting married, after a delayed 2020 wedding, and it was truly an exceptional day. I know deep in my heart that these two will spend their lives out-loving each other.
These beauties were ON IT all day long for Karlee- I loved seeing them together!! There were so so many sweet moments in this day.
I loved this first look SO much and how it allowed these 2 to relax and spend their whole day TOGETHER!! I mean…truly a super fun, super good-looking, super kind group!! Do you see the rain?! It is raining here…and these two were all smiles!I’ve GOT to take a moment to say that I literally gasped when I walked into the Rail reception space. I have shot there dozens of times, but Julia (planner and designer- link below!) 100% outdid herself (while on Maternity leave!!). It was BREATHTAKING, so detailed, and I think truly captured Karlee and Bryant’s style so perfectly. LOVE these two (and this amazing wall!)! Big congrats to the new Mr and Mrs McKneely!!! I absolutely adore you two and it was such an honor to capture your day!!
I absolutely loved working with Karlee and Bryant’s amazing creative team!!
