CENTRAL ILLINOIS FALL COUNTRY FARM ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY Morgan + Miranda | Promised

It is so hard for me to even know where to begin every time I have history with the beautiful people in the photos…and even harder when it is my beloved nephew who I’ve known for over half his life and his fiance, who we literally could NOT love more!  Let me start with Morgan, my nephew.  Morgan was the kid who ALWAYS jumped up to clean up the kitchen, help on the farm, take responsibility for any task that needed done.   He is kind, so easy to talk to, and warm.  He truly is one of those people that EVERYONE who meets comes to love (much like his dad), and has been since he was in the age that kids are often difficult.  Morgan was never that kid.  He is just special, and has always been.  And Miranda, who I have only had the pleasure of knowing the last few years, could be identified by VERY similar characteristics.  She is just so SO kind and giving, and that shows in absolutely everything she does.  The first day she met us (which was before she was even officially dating Morgan), she bought something from one of my kid’s fundraisers, always visits with baked goods on hand, and never hesitates before playing catch, games, or blocks with my kids.  My oldest son wants to play with her, my daughter wants to be just like her, and my youngest boy might give Morgan a run for his money in his love for her!  EVERYONE loves Miranda- she is extremely easy to adore.  So it is just perfect that our Morgan has found her, and we are SO excited for them to get married in the spring!

I LOVED this time with them so much…these are some of my favorite engagement photos ever, and it isn’t just because of the gorgeous scenery or Miranda’s beautiful style.  I have said it a million times before and will never stop– I 100% married up when I married Michael, and his amazing family is a part of that equation.  I am so thankful to be able to call these 2 family!  Meet Morgan and Miranda!

I love this set so much!! Back at our lovely Gum Farms where Morgan grew up! We love you guys!  Full gallery coming soon!

I'm Jill, a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Chicago and Central Illinois, and available world wide! I'm also a photography educator, wife to my favorite person on the planet, mama to 3 amazing kids and an energetic Aussie, and obsessed with statement jewelry and all desserts (especially fruit pies!).

As a past high school teacher, I have a major heart for education. After going full time in my business, I have built a business I love that gives me an almost 6 figure salary and allows me to be home part time with my kids.  I dream for you to run a business that enhances your life and lights you up, and I believe I can help you learn how to do it with a little hustle and a lot of heart!

Are you a mom/hobbyist?

You're in the right place!  As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business!  I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).

I'm so glad you are here!  Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!  I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
