My 2022 wedding season began RIGHT at the start of 2022, and I am SO HAPPY with the way it began!!  Katherine and Josh had their engagement session just a couple of months ago, so I recently got to know them and spend time with them and instantly knew that their day would be so special.  And it truly was!  Their families and their faith are so important to them, and that created a beyond meaningful day filled with such deep emotion and joy.  I could literally feel how excited each person who was there was for Katherine and Josh to become husband and wife, and it was such a special thing to witness!  Among many details, one thing that really stood out to me was Katherine and Josh’s ability to keep their “eye on the prize” as it was…we had tricky, cold, and extremely wet weather all day long but they never stopped smiling.   For portraits I had just gotten out of our car and was working to find an umbrella to help Katherine and suddenly she was walking up to me in the freezing rain, not a care in the world, just happy for it to be her wedding day (no umbrella needed).  They really blew me away with their calm about everything that WASN’T them actually saying I do and choosing each other forever– as long as that step happened, the rest was just extra.  It was so beautiful!  I can’t wait to share many favorites!

First looks with dad are always worth it!

Katherine and Josh opted to skip a first look and made their schedule work with that, but they did want a few moments together before the ceremony — this was such a special addition to their day!!

Married!! You would NEVER know how cold and wet it was (if I didn’t tell you, I guess!)– these two and their bridal party were absolute troopers!  And it was SO WORTH IT!!

Katherine, you are exquisite! Katherine and Josh, it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day!!! I wish you guys ALL the best and can’t wait to deliver your gallery soon!!!
