Sharing Katie and Max’s wedding day is so special to me because of this bride, who I have known for over half her life. Katie was a deeply adored student of mine at my teaching job. She was also my teacher’s assistant, our star dancer in shows, in all my extra curricular activities. And far beyond, she was my friend. She was always so easy going, effortless to spend time with, and so so enjoyable. And she has 100% found her match. I LOVED seeing them interact with their families and seeing how deeply integrated they are on their wedding day. They have truly been family for each other for a long time already, and it was so so visible in every part of their wedding day. Their wedding day also happened to be the literal first day of real feeling spring around here, and it was like magic. We went from 50 degrees and wet to sunny and 75 overnight, and it felt completely meant to be for a gorgeous outdoor tree farm wedding!
Katie and Max deserve each other. They deserved the most perfect day. They are both truly beautiful human beings inside and out, and care for each other and others SO well. I am so so happy that my sweet Katie has found such a loving partner to grow a family and a life with. I know it will be an adventurous, happy, beautiful one.
