Taylor and Daniel’s wedding day was special from the moment it began to the end, and I knew it would be after meeting them for their engagement session.  They have such an immense warmth, excitement, and energy about them, and it made for such an upbeat, fun wedding day.  That warmth stretched deep into the way they related with their family and guests, and it truly touched me.  Taylor and Dan intensely enjoy people, and it just oozes out of every interaction they have with them.  They greeted each of their 250 guests with true happiness, and I saw that in every interaction I witnessed on their day.  There is just something so genuine and beautiful about they way they interact with people, and on your wedding day when you get all of your favorite people in ONE place…it makes for a really special event.

I said it before, but Taylor drew me in from the moment I met her and learning more about her from her loved ones on her wedding day gave me a feeling I haven’t felt before at a wedding (in part because my kids are still quite young).  But during their reception while listening to the toasts and seeing such genuine emotion out of her while her dad and their closest friends just raved about her and the two of them together, it creeped up…Taylor is someone I hope my daughter grows up to share qualities of.  Her warmth and kindness is contagious, and it is palpable from across a room.  It is so beautiful– and I could say the same of Daniel. They are just truly a special couple and I was SO honored to get to be the one to capture this day!!!

  Taylor’s mom has a photo in this exact sot in her wedding dress hanging in her home…it was so fun to recreate! The GORGEOUS reception, at one of my favorite local wineries, was decorated by Lynne Metz of Awesome Apron, a past mother of the bride and friend of mine who I have had the pleasure of working with on quite a few VERY fun photo projects over the last year of her gorgeous tablescapes and food!  She is close with Taylor’s parents and did this as a favor to the, and did an amazing job!!! I just adore these two!! Daniel and his Grandma have a sweet relationship and I loved watching it on their wedding day! Congrats Taylor and Dan…you are husband and wife!!! Enjoy every moment of Bora Bora!!!
