Alex and Mitch’s wedding day was visually stunning, extremely heartfelt, beautifully classy, and somehow all while being easy going and non stressful at every turn. It was the perfect mix of extremely well thought out and planned while also being allowed to happen as it naturally happened, and it truly was such a wonderful day. We started at the beautiful Aubrey home in Springfield, which was the perfect backdrop for the whole wedding party to hang out and get ready. The room Alex was in was somehow amped up in all the good ways while still feeling calm and steady, a mix I don’t often see. Alex’s taste is flawless, and it oozed into every part of her and Mitch’s day. And all the pieces just fit together. We got to take photos inside the beautiful Dana Thomas House, which was so fun for me as a lover of all things Frank Lloyd Wright! But beyond all that, Alex and Mitch are such a sweet couple with an extremely lovely story. They have seen each other through a lot and have known each other for a very long time. Their friends and families are intertwined, and they have really practiced supporting and loving each other through many stages already, and I know such a beautiful marriage is awaiting them. I heard some of the most beautiful wedding speeches about the two of them together and how they face life at this day, and watched some family connections that really moved me. It just comes down to these two being so very right for each other and doing the work to connect their lives in every way that matters most– and it showed all throughout their beautiful wedding day. I have so many favorites of this stunning day– I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
