This beautiful little family is no stranger to this blog. I have gotten to witness and capture so many significant stages in their past couple years and I am so honored to have that privilege! But even amid photographing in hospital lighting, in their second slightly smaller room, with extremely rightfully exhausted parents, this stage might have been my favorite: the baby becoming the big sister. That is probably because we have so recently had that stage in our own family, and it was so significant for us; absolutely nothing has touched my heart in my entire life like watching my son be a big brother to his baby sister. And let’s just be honest- a lot of things touch my heart! I am so excited to give these images from the VZ family’s Fresh 48 to them, for their older daughter to be able to have a record of what it was like the moment she met her best friend. I cannot believe how lucky I am to get to capture these interactions…and how very thankful! I’m going to keep quiet and let the story now tell itself.
