Fall has historically been my favorite season to shoot in because of all the color…but this spring is DEFINITELY giving old fall a run for it’s money!  And this engagement session is the perfect example of why!  Beautiful greens, perfect light, and so many flowers blooming on trees…I’m in love! And so are Jennifer and Craig!! I was SO excited to meet up with these two for this session, and it was wonderful!  They are getting married on New Years this year, and it will close out my 2015 wedding season in the most WONDERFUL way- I absolutely cannot wait!  These two have pretty fantastic style, and the plans so far sound like the dream winter wedding- it is going to be so fun!

Jenn and Craig were SO fun to spend the evening with.  They are so easy to talk to and spend time with, and together they have that quality that made me feel like I had known them for years and was catching up with old friends.  Their love is very visible in the images, and those are my favorite types of couples.  I think they, like most, were a little nervous about how they would look in the lens, and they were an absolute dream to photograph!  Willing to try anything, fantastic smilers, very sweet with each other, and GORGEOUS (their crossfit lifestyle doesn’t hurt their photogenic-ness…is that a word??)…it was just a perfect evening!  We started downtown Springfield, IL at Lincoln’s Homestead.  Meet Jenn and Craig!
