Typically, most of the couples I photograph for engagement sessions are JGP wedding couples…people who I will get to photograph on that most important day. But sometimes, various circumstances will give me some time with a couple for just this session, and Jess and Jon are one of those…because they are getting married at a resort in the DR this fall!  I am so excited for them and their wedding— I have been to Punta Cana and it is a dream, and I know they will have a beautiful and meaningful celebration with their loved ones! And I wish they could throw me in their suitcase to go along and photograph that day too, because they are SO wonderful to photograph!
We met on what seemed like the first sunny day in WEEKS- but it was still a bit chilly and VERY windy.  Jess has beautiful long hair (trust me, it’s gorgeous, you will see), and the wind just blew it all over the place while she shivered a bit with the cold- but you can’t tell in these images! She and Jon were PERFECT together, and took everything in stride! I loved watching them interact and getting to know them a bit.  Jon is protective of her, and super attentive to her.  It was quite lovely, really!  Meet Jessica and Jon.

Jess might KILL me for sharing these-but when I asked Jon to pick her up one last time and make it count, THIS is what he did…and I LOVED it!!  You can see all the playfulness and fun in them in this one image!
