Ashley was a very adored student of mine for my first four years teaching, and Zach was a boy her age who was thought of as very respectable, very hardworking, and very kind- and one I didn’t have the pleasure of directly teaching much, but one I definitely knew.  Ashley and I always had a special relationship…but I will never forget the moment it went to a WHOLE different level!  Ashley worked at one of the hospitals in town, and the one I had my babies at.  And unknown to me, she was serving food during our hospital stay with our first- and came in to deliver food one day while I was in the throws of early motherhood nursing…one day many of you will know about that but lets just say it is not too pretty, and there was one of my current seniors in the room, as sweet as can be, delivering food and cooing over my new baby…it was really something! I will always remember that moment because her response was SO SO Ashley- kindness, a sweet smile, and warm compliments about my baby, regardless of what could have been a SUPER awkward visit!  I absolutely adore this girl and am so thrilled with the young woman she has become…and so thrilled that she has found her match in Zach, so early in life!  They are wonderful, easy, light, and playful together.  They watch out for each other and take care of each other.  I am SO excited for what the future holds for them as a family and cannot wait to witness it! I was so glad to get to photograph this engagement mini for them- enjoy Ashley and Zach!
