After a whirlwind weekend, I am excited to be back at my desk going catching up a little bit!! I don’t know how it happened, but last week our sweetest girl turned ONE!  So we played crazy catch up and prep last week, and had her birthday party on Saturday and it was a lovely day!  Blush pink, gold AND silver (love those mixed metals!), tutus, and little girly touches every where, I absolutely loved it! But much more so than the fun decorating, I just love watching my babies interact with those who love them most!  Our boy was of course the life of the party, with little Ellie being a little more reserved- but she DID enjoy that present opening! And had MUCH more fun with the cake smash than her very clean older brother! I will probably do a full party post soon, but for today, here are just a few snippets!
Sunday brought the first simply catch up day of the last few weeks (and the last for a while!)- errands, movies, cuddling, and enjoying each other were the perfect recipe.  On the back of my mind all day was that it was the last day of summer for my previous co-workers, who returned to school today, which has brought me highly mixed feelings- more thoughts on that soon as well!  Short and sweet (and girly!) today, but some bits of my heart and some beautiful sessions coming to you later this week!
