I cannot BELIEVE we only have one fall wedding left, and then 2 in December and 2015 weddings are done! They have absolutely flown by- but I have to admit, I was waiting all season for this one!  Emily and Spencer’s engagement session was one of my all time favorites- they were so photogenic, so sweet together, and I just adored getting to know them a bit!  Emily is super interested in photography, and just gets it- she is amazing for the camera!  But their whole day was so much more than that.  Surrounded by family, Emily and Spencer had only siblings in their wedding party- two brothers and two sisters.  I spent the morning with Emily, her sisters, and her parents at their home and they were just so welcoming and fun.  It was such a calm, genuine atmosphere and I just loved it.  Emily and Spencer shared a beautiful first look, which I will never stop proclaiming my love for, in the home Emily grew up in and where we had their engagement session, and it was just so meaningful.  Her family property had a few family heirloom vehicles on it that are very important to them, and it was so personal. We then went to their proposal location, the beautiful Lincoln Memorial Gardens–you can see the threads of their relationship woven into their wedding day, and that was why I was so excited about it!  It was just absolutely beautiful. The lace on Emily’s bouquet was from her mother’s wedding dress…stunning!Emily!! You are SO gorgeous!!!I LOVED the Illini Country Club as their reception venue- it was beautiful and the PERFECT space! And their decorations…so much fall goodness!!!You KNOW I love all of these pumpkins–brought me back to our wedding a bit!!!  Specialty Cakes NAILED this unfrosted cake–this is my new favorite cake look!  The florals by Petals and Co (link at the bottom!) BLEW me away as always– just absolutely beautiful!Emily made time in her schedule for us to escape for a few more pictures at sunset, my very favorite time to shoot!!  Had to grab another of these sisters…their relationship is so special!
