FALL MINI-SESSIONS Final 2016 openings!

A few days ago, I was driving back from our family farm and noticed that the corn is just starting to turn. It is so funny to be because just a few years ago, I would have had no clue what that would mean. I had no clue that the corn even really dried out, or that that meant harvest would start after it dried. I had no clue how the crops could tell the turning of the seasons, and the passing of the years, the same way the weather does….all because I never saw it’s beauty! When I noticed it, I knew that that meant fall is not too far away…which means it is time to announce fall mini-sessions!
I was absolutely shocked a few weeks ago (which means I have some business pieces to get better organized for next year probably!) to notice that I really had no regular session openings for the rest of the year, so that makes these mini-sessions even more important because they are my last openings!  I typically have done tree-farm mini-sessions in November and I love them.  However, last year I realized after the holidays  were over between two trips in November and December and a ton of sessions in between that I missed a lot of it.  A lot of important holiday time with my kids that I didn’t want to miss again.  So between that and having 2 November weddings this year, we decided that I am not going to take any more sessions after those weddings with the exception of a handful of maternity, newborn, and engagement sessions already planned so that I can really focus on family holiday time.  Usually those tree farm sessions are the first week in November so I can get images back in time for Christmas cards but with the weddings that is impossible- so if you typically get one of those sessions with me, please join me for a fall session instead!
Right now I have one date open with limited spots (but potential to add another day if necessary).  They will be at scenic location within 40 minutes of Springfield to be determined, with final details and schedule being sent 2 weeks before! If you want more details on the scheduling, I wrote a post about it here!

Email jill@jillgumphotography.com to grab one of the limited spots for these fall minis- the almighty Christmas Card is waiting!! 😉

I'm Jill, a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Chicago and Central Illinois, and available world wide! I'm also a photography educator, wife to my favorite person on the planet, mama to 3 amazing kids and an energetic Aussie, and obsessed with statement jewelry and all desserts (especially fruit pies!).

As a past high school teacher, I have a major heart for education. After going full time in my business, I have built a business I love that gives me an almost 6 figure salary and allows me to be home part time with my kids.  I dream for you to run a business that enhances your life and lights you up, and I believe I can help you learn how to do it with a little hustle and a lot of heart!

Hello Friend!

Are you a Photographer?

Are you a mom/hobbyist?

Start HERE!

You're in the right place!  As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business!  I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).

I'm so glad you are here!  Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!  I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
