I am so excited about these images. I don’t get to photograph a ton of new Jill Gum families anymore schedule wise, but I love it when I do. Far beyond, I adore this family.  A few short months ago, I didn’t even know this family at all, but in a short amount of time they have become such a huge part of my and my family’s life!  You see, when I was walking outside with my kids one day last spring, Carla pulled over with her 2 beautiful girls in her back seat to say hello because we live close to each other- and had never met! It just so happens that she is home with her girls too- so we have spent a lot of time together, and with our husbands and other friends, over the last few months. My kids adore this family as much as I do! I told Carla one day that I feel really lucky to have found her.  There is this thing about being a mom where you can find common ground that can turn into a friendship of sorts with really any other mom….because both of you are doing the most significantly hard work that exists in the world (can I get an AMEN, mamas?!).  That being said…so far beyond having that one commonality …I really really like Carla (even apart from the fellow mom thing)!  We have so much fun together with our kids, she is a beautiful person inside and out, and we have a lot in common as people.  We have 2 other mom friends that we spend a lot of time with as well, and I just feel so lucky that these women make up a part of our “village” and our life.   Meet the beautiful U family!
