She twirled and danced. She smiled and giggled (and very occasionally, but as any 3 year old would do, fussed a bit). She assigned princess characters to each of the bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and of course, her mama. The bride. Cinderella. While she was doing that, 3 sweet bridesmaids loved on and helped and supported and steamed and giggled, and the mother of the bride sat on holding back tears as best she could at the day they had all waited for for so long. Saturday was absolutely beautiful in so many ways. The weather was perfect, absolutely dreamy for an outdoor November wedding, the colors were lovely, it was so cutely styled, and the little flower girl, the daughter of the bride and groom, was the absolute sweetest little thing! But none of that was necessarily what made it so beautiful. It was the love and excitement for this day. Long in planning, longer in heart, and the culmination of so much for Lindsay and Josh.
These two are just lovely together. They are raising a beautiful and strong little girl, and have sacrificed as all parents do to do so. But one of their sacrifices was waiting for this day- and I know it paid off so brilliantly. They were surrounded by an intimate group of loved ones and said “I do” with the sun setting behind them before dancing the night away with their best girl. It was such a perfect day! And these details…it was all just gorgeous!
<3<3 LOVE a bridesmaids group in robes!!
My sweet niece Katie, who joined us for the day and is a wonderful photographer herself, took this and many other favorites!! I am so proud of her and LOVED having her with me! Lindsay, you are GORGEOUS!!! First look- some of my FAVORITE moments of the day! You two are so lovely! Petals & Co took my breath away (AGAIN) with this bouquet!! Lindsay’s mother’s dress made up this lace.
LOVE these two! That pointed toe!!!! My Katie and I (the hotel front desk workers thought we were bridesmaids in our matching fall attire 😉 It wasn’t intentional!). This just made for the most lovely ceremony site- and any outdoor ceremony with doors…I just love it! Love this… That light! Lindsay you are gorgeous! Married! Lindsay and Josh, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day! I am so thrilled for you guys, and hope you love these favorites!!
