They met a long time ago, when she was just in high school.  Holding jobs at the same local store, she got to know him in a casual way.  He was creative, and funny, and he made her laugh.  She was still in high school and even though he had begun college, she knew that she wanted him to take her to her senior prom.  He was interested- but couldn’t go with her to due external circumstances, and they lost touch.  Years later, they ran into each other and it was like no time had passed.  John and Laura were finally together, and would never be apart again.  But what about that prom? In one of the sweetest proposal stories I have ever heard, John recreated the important parts of her senior prom, the one he never got to take her to, for her to ask her to be his best friend and wife for the rest of their lives.

These two are so sweet together.  Laura is beautiful and just exudes kindness and vibrancy. And the way John looks at her…he just cannot get enough of her. And I cannot get enough of that! 🙂  I am so excited to be sharing their engagement session today! We spend a beautiful evening together a couple weeks ago and I am just so excited for their winery wedding next year!! Meet Laura and John:

Those shoes! I just LOVE these- this light, and the fun urban setting…some of my favorites of the season! Gorgeous you two!
