I love engagement sessions. I love winter. I love photographing old students of mine who I know so very well.  I love family touches to sessions and weddings.  And I love tree farms.  Which means that this engagement session had a combo of so many things that I love!  Shelby graduated the year that I joke I graduated (when I decided to stay home with my babies and grow this business instead of teach), and is pursuing a degree in music education (something that is clearly close to my heart).  Along her road, she met someone who she really could have been set up with years ago- and knew immediately that he was the only person she would date again.  Jack is perfect for Shelby.  And he absolutely adores her, and I love seeing that for someone that I feel so fondly about!  Shelby is special and has always been- she is talented and vivacious and fun, and super girly- all qualities that I adore! And Jack just supports her and loves her and compliments her so well!  I was so excited when we got to plan this engagement session, and even more thrilled that they wanted to really lean into winter and shoot at my favorite Cassens Tree Farm.  Meet Shelby and Jack!
