We love photographing on college campuses. We love all things pink at a wedding (ok maybe just me on that one!). And good grief, I love Kassie’s SHOES- just wait! But really, we just love celebrating hugely important days with beautiful couples who love each other well, and are just good people. And Chris and Kassie are some of those people. They planned a beautiful day full of sweet details and touches that was truly visually stunning. I absolutely loved spending the morning with Kassie and her girls, chatting life and kids and dress-steaming practices. One of my sweet earlier brides, Elise, was one of Kassie’s bridesmaids (and our connection point) and it was so fun to spend that time with her too! The day was just gorgeous.
Their pastor spoke about the two of them in a beautiful ceremony, and how in sessions before the wedding, he asked each Kassie and Chris how they thought the other person loved them the best. Kassie said Chris took care of her, and Chris said Kassie kept him out of trouble! Then he pointed out that Kassie, in her career, spends her days taking care of everyone else as a nurse…and Chris, who works in insurance, spends his days helping others stay safe. This struck me so clearly about the two of them, about what a wonderful match they are, and about how special it will be for them to continue to choose to love each other for the rest of their lives. Kassie and Chris, thank you so much for choosing us to capture your beautiful day!
SHOES! Beauties! Sweet first look! It was hot…but these two handled it like champs! And then…we got to photograph at on Memorial Stadium. That was pretty much amazing. I have an identical picture from our wedding that I love- I will share it sometime! This reception space at the IHotel?! Out of this world!! Two gorgeous #jillgumbrides!! Gotta love sunset! Kassie and Chris, thank you again! We hope you love reliving your day through this post!!
