Even though they grew up here, this chill of this cool fall session (amid random 80 degree days!) must have shocked Cassandra and Matt!  Yet they never stopped smiling and giggling and enjoying each other, and I am guessing that is what life together is like with them.  I felt like I could get totally wrapped up in their energy…they are fun, sweet, and absolutely lovely together.  I am sure that the cold wasn’t exactly what they pictured when they dreamed of an October Illinois engagement session on a quick trip home for some wedding planning, but we totally made the most of it, and I am guessing that is a regular behavior in their lives too!  When I asked them to tell me their favorite character trait of each other, Cassandra reflected on Matt’s charm and how he can always make  her smile in any situation.  And Matt commented on how everyone that meets Cassandra loves her…that her kindness makes it impossible not to.  I was struck by both because I may have said the same thing about each if I was asked, after just one evening with them.  They have been together for a long time, and have spent much of their lives loving each other. I cannot wait for their wedding!!! Meet Cass and Matt!
